This league is getting ridiculous with these trades. Basically just giving away players for minimal gain disrupts the competitive balance of this league

Trade deadline should be sooner than right before the playoffs. The losers should not be allowed to impact tight races at the end of the season

I think we need to make some major changes in this league.

I agree with all of that.

Thing is, I wasn't gonna let everyone close the gap on me while I just sat there and watched.

I don't have much of an opinion on that. It's been happening since we started this league.

But, in my own defense, I've been trying to sell 3-4 of my players for basically a 1 round upgrade for the past few months. Knat's draft next year may be the worst set of picks I've ever seen. He is going to pay for his run.

You gave a 4th. That's not bad.

The whole trading picks thing in this league is crazy since we only keep 5.

I really think at some point (not next year) we need to look at our keeper number. Either increase it to something high like 10, highly limit draft pick trading, consider a complete redraft, ect. 6 teams are either in our out by the half way point. We should try to make it more competitive.

I don't view fantasy bball as too much different than fantasy football. It's obviously not as eratic and random as football. But keepers sit better with me the most in baseball. I would be fine with a complete redraft.

If we are going to raise the keeper # drastically, then that needs to be phased in over 2-3 years IMO. Or maybe even a redraft, then a higher keeper #.

I would like to go to an annual redraft auction.

Could just make it a dynasty. You keep all of your players year to year

I think if we did that we would need to do a complete redraft first.

I own the league two years straight and now we need to change shite up.

I'm bullshitting of course. I don't care what we do going forward. I can definitely tell you that Knat will flip his shite if we vote to do a complete redraft.

We can continue with the same ole trade your team for picks, sell out after 5 weeks stuff but there are zero chances for upsets in this league.

While I agree that things should be shaken up, no 1 seed has ever won this league, right?

Yeah. It just means that there are 6 really good teams at the end of the year and 6 shitty teams. No real chase for the playoffs, no bad losses. The only meaningful matchups are for seeding. I quit because Phan had 2 cupcakes to my 1 on the schedule. Simple math guaranteed him to wins with no threat.

Did honkus forget to set his lineup on Sunday, or is he tanking for worst record.

5-3 turned into a 7-1.

Jake is still in the driver seat for the 6 seed

Karma hasn't been setting his for a few weeks. I didn't bother mentioning it bc he really hasn't played a meaningful matchup

I think eliminating pick trading at a certain point in the season is a good idea. If a team is going to get better later in the season, at least make them trade a player
