It's a cluster frick.
The administration is incompetent.
The facilities are a joke.
The academic situation is a joke.
Upperclassmen have missed practice for years due to conflicts with class schedules.
It's the epitome of SWAC football.

Their academics are arse. Football facilities are too. You didn't see clip on ESPN about the Southern players holding out because they wanted better facilities because they said their "health was in danger". Yea it' pretty bad at Southern

All of this. Although SU was somewhat of a dynasty the couple of years I was there before I joined the Army.

It also doesn't help when Bobby "idiot" Jindal is cutting shite either. Black institutions have always had a tough going because of poor financing and this idiot hurts that situation even more.

Dang. That worked out great for us.
I remember one spring game when everyone was saying "who the heck is Terrance Magee, and why is he getting all the end of game carries". Next thing you know Magee is scoring TDs in real games.

If the graduation rate wasn't horrible, Southern wouldn't be getting cuts.

The school is a vestige of a bygone era and has outlived its usefulness. Instead of lamenting the cuts being made, you should be happy there is any funding whatsoever.
