Then what's the point of this thread?
Was something I noticed when looking at the draws of Group play when I checked to see if the USA played close to where my friends live. I actually went 5 pages deep before I posted and didn't see any discussion on this. The logistics of the travel and the shitty Brazillian backroad infrastructure makes any plan to go and catch a couple matches and chill on the beach with my buddies pretty well impossible.
Anyone with knowledge of group travel packages or specific travel options between the matches would've been kinda nice. I looked at the airlines operating out of Natal, none of them service the city where the 2nd match is, and there are no North American International flights there. Everything airline related will have to route through Rio, which will be a clusterfrick in itself.

You'd literally have to be somewhat mentally retarded to drive those destinations. There is one road that goes into Manaus, so it would be very ignorant

We knew this literally the second the groups were drawn.

The three trip leg from Natal to Manaus to Recife to Rio for the correct dates selected would run $1,322 (all non-stops) on TAM. So you'd have to get to Natal before 6-16 and then you'd be in Rio on 6-27 for that price for the three air legs. It's a crappy trifecta, but I understand that every team has a bad logistical issue. At least the German team has a home base in Brazil.
