Pitch was used as a roofing product as well, I don't believe it can be used anymore. Basically when it gets hot the roof is liquid and fills and possible voids giving you one continuos roof. Shits nasty when you tear off, because it flakes and gets into your skin and eyes and throat and burns like a motha.

Thanks for posting. I checked in on it from time to time. I didn't realize it was over as soon as it touched the 8th drop. It's still hanging; I didn't think it was over until it broke away from the funnel completely.
