I tried to tell the dude earlier in the thread that I think it is just property Homeland security has in case of a natural disaster and the damn fool tries to call me out on it being a concentration camp.

nothing else needs to be said except for the fact that one of his conspiracy theory videos was produced by The Onion.

OhFace55 pointed out the onion connection in the first post after the video post.

Calm down, brah. The title of the thread is about a concentration camp in LP. There is a widely know conspiracy video of someone theorist pointing out Camp Livingston and claiming it is a concentration camp in Livingston.

My question was what property you are talking about since I have never heard of another property being speculated as a concentration camp in LP.

Fwiw, googled federal property in Livingston parish and got nothing really.

There is a property south of the town of Livingston. I never read or opened the link. I assumed that was the property they were talking about. This is not my thread I just commented in it. My original post was: I think it was for natural disasters, although could be used for more sinister purposes.

You've got to hand it the government...if they are to set up a camp away from intelligent life, Livingston Parish would be the place to put it !

Once I did a flyover I remembered the area south of I-12.

On the left is where they stored an assload of swamped cars after Katrina. On the right is the burial area for that trainwreck back in Livingston, think in the 70's or 80's

I am also familier with Camp Livingston because I served four years in the LaNational Guard and have been there multiple times.

"I'm the key figure in an ongoing government charade, the plot to conceal the truth about the existence of extraterrestrials. It's a global conspiracy, actually, with key players in the highest levels of power, that reaches down into the lives of every man, woman, and child on this planet, so, of course, no one believes me. I'm an annoyance to my superiors, a joke to my peers. They call me Spooky. Spooky Mulder, whose sister was abducted by aliens when he was just a kid and who now chases after little green men with a badge and a gun, shouting to the heavens or to anyone who will listen that the fix is in, that the sky is falling and when it hits it's gonna be the shite-storm of all time."

As I said before, I am not a FEMA camp believer. I do however, understand as things like this have happened before, they will happen again.

quote:

Justice Antonin Scalia predicts that the Supreme Court will eventually authorize another a wartime abuse of civil rights such as the internment camps for Japanese-Americans during World War II.

LINK

Having sitting US Supreme Court Justices acknowledging such things isn't the acknowledgment of conspiracies, its just a realist view of our history.
