I don't think so. Smart dude obviously but I think he's feeling out fantasy and doesn't have an ego, that's just rare on the fantasy board

Exactly. He said he is just learning, but this is two years running he has produced a strong team.

Wow can't say I've seen a worse bench start for a manager. 4 homers on the bench.

It was my worst bench start this year for sure.

I knew I was leaving a lot of power on the bench but they have also been killing my fragile ops.

They really want you to get that extra $50.

What sucks is I put in my bid for Soler too, 16 dollars........

BTW, If you put in the same bid as someone else how is it decided who gets the player?

Standings

If I went all in with my $16, I wouldn't have gotten him either.

A couple days ago I was seeing who had FAAB money I could trade for then remembered we were way past the deadline.

I knew I was going to need it for O'Flaherty and Soler.

I just looked, its inverse standings. Just so happens I started yesterday one spot ahead of Zeph, not one spot behind.....thats just bad luck

FAAB used strategically can be a weapon and I believe adds to the game... last year's rules I would not have had a "fair" opportunity.

Based on the waiver position I knew I'd likely get Soler at $16... I think the 10th or 11th guy could have won it but didn't think he would be that interested to bet the rest of his FAAB money.

The only way you were going to win Soler against me is if you had more money... luck had nothing to do with it. It was a calculation based on those standing on the $16 bid.

What happens if there is a tie in this league?

Tie for 2nd?

I think there was a discussion about ties last year but don't remember what was resolved. Split the prize pool for the 2 positions tied 50/50???

My team needs to catch lightening in a bottle for me to be in that discussion... I'd flip PED's for it if he ties me for fourth.

I can't wait for these last 2 weeks to finish. Hopefully I can limp out with $100.

The slide from second to eighth has been long and painful.

With me rebuilding in sbl and this league being less daily than in the past, I was definitely less into fantasy baseball this year. Even if it is unbalanced, I prefer h2h over roto just cause it is more exciting. Plus, owners are more likely to stay active.

Yeah, I wanted something different, but h2h just makes more sense.

Auction is the still awesome though even though it takes a long time to draft.

Can we change the do not cut list? I'd like to cut Stanton now that he's out.
