I mean, I would argue a FACT point. If you were saying 2+2=5...I understand spending several posts to talk you into my answer.

If you were doing something dangerous,..say drinking antifreeze to "stay warm"...I'd try over MANY posts to convince you to change your mind.

But, if you LIKE something and you are HAPPY with it, why the frick would I try so hard to "win" the argument and have you be unhappy?

I don't know. Go read the poli board and you will see posters that believe every bit of spin that comes out of the White House. There are other posters that say, "You blind sheep will just lap up anything that Obama tells you." Those same posters will listen to Les Miles, or some other LSU official, spout off some spin about "new CBA, great for recruiting, kids got to make money" and just lap it up. The facts don't show that. Our recruiting classes are not any better than they have been in the last 10 years. Other schools with just as much talent as us aren't losing players at the same rate as us.

I don't know why I argue, but I guess it's part of the attraction to a message board. The chance to discuss sports with a wide variety of people. Who wants to sit around a bunch of yes men all day?

Or maybe we realize that there is very little we can do about it save our coaches going dirty and paying players to come back. They can go make the minimum of 300k or stay and work and take tests for free. We had an extremely talented underclass combined with some guys like ford and ware who saw the writing on the wall...do you think those guys would have changed the outcome? I don't...maybe Mingo or Sam but they were both projected 1st round until Sams interviews.

Don't dis the poliboard Choup. You should come by sometime. I'm leading a grassroots effort to repeal the 19th amendment. It's picking up steam.

Maybe minter and tyrann could have changed the outcome of the last 2 seasons. But minter prob wasn't going to duplicate his numbers, tyranny got the boot.

Great list Sammy. I counted at least 4 schools represented by those 12 players. I can give you a 12 player list leaving early from just one school. Wanna guess which school?

Our recruiting class is top ten just about every year. Miles makes these kids go to class. They don't always like it. Do you remember all the BS when Saban was here about tutors and stuff taking tests for players? Players not going to class? That stuff was real man. Don't tell me he changed when he got to Bama. and their losing 5-6 juniors this year. And as Yahoo sports showed, they were paying the seniors who stayed.
