MacIntyre seems like a good choice since he played there and think his dad coached there. But I am going with somebody like Narduzzi, based off history of their hires.

He did indeed, and MacIntyre still has family living in Nashville (he was there over the holidays). When he was asked about possibly going to Vandy, he sort of hemmed and hawed some coach speak about how he believes in what he's doing at CU and that he doesn't "covet" the Vandy job.

We'll see.

Macintyre should have stayed at SJSU Another year and waltzed to Nashville. Just taking the Colorado job may make it difficult for him to cut bait.

Basically Bama coordinator(As long as he is there, he will receive little credit for his own accomplishments) >>>>>>>>>>>> Vandy HC in terms of prestige

Smart needs to break free from Saban if he wants to be taken seriously.

No guarantee for those jobs. A huge gap in Smart's resume is no HC experience. Which is pretty important for the big jobs.

Schiano's name has been kicked around on sports radio due to his success at Rutgers.

I liked that good ol boy that filled in that one season before Franklin. Was his name Caldwell maybe? He's probably selling tractors somewhere and would love to come back.

Would like to see Morris in the SEC on a team we don't play.

Morris or Mason. Jonathan McCrary would be a great fit for Morris' system.

Schiano

They need to at least give him a look. He's one of those coaches that didn't translate to the pros but is great in cfb. Turned around a woeful Rutgers program, recruits well and is a great motivator. Seems like a fit to me to keep them competing.

If I'm a Vandy fan, I'm screaming for Morris right now.

If we're saying silly things, let's go with Mack Brown. He played at Vanderbilt, and his brother Watson was OC and HC at Vandy in separate stints.

That's who I figured they'd take a look at with him not being selected for the Penn State job. Would be a good move.

I don't see Smart going anywhere. And Morris not getting a couple other jobs has been kind of odd, not sure if it's lack of interest or waiting for something else.

Hand and Shoop have both been touted for the job. Hand going from OL to HC would be a pretty big leap. Shoop is a possibility. He's actually a pretty fiery guy in the locker room, but I'm not sure if he's going with Franklin.

Yep, same here. I'm surprised he hasn't already got a HC job somewhere.

Surely Shoop would take the opportunity to be a HC over the opportunity to be a defensive coordinator at Penn State, though?
