You know else made game winning drives in college? Everyone. Winston is Aj Mccaron right now. A competent qb who looks great bc his other 21 players are always better the other teams 21

Pipe dream of first rounder for me. Would essentially give Brees 5 years with graham and Benjamin as his top 2 pass catchers to go with our young defense.

I have a feeling he blows the roof of the combine though.

So you'll knock that but not give him credit for that great touch pass to Benjamin to win it? This thread just feels like sour grapes to me.

And actually that was very nice placement for the WR who took it another 50 yRds

Lol, now I know you didn't watch the game objectively. Prob slobbing all over Winston like the rest of the media. #11 the corner back didn't do a damn thing on either pass in the redzone. He let the receivers break free to the inside. Anyone can make those throws.

5 yard hitch... 2 DB's whiffing on tackles.

Nuff said

Not knocking Winston, but Benjamin was more open than he appeared - Winston threw it behind him.

He also should have thrown a couple picks tonight, they were bouncing off Auburn DB's hands like volleyballs.

Without his defense, special teams and Benjamin, he's wearing goat horns right now.

He just turned 20 (Winston)

Won a NC. Won a Heisman. Put up record setting numbers.

He's got to improve. But when he finally faced adversity...he answered it.

Really? I don't recall one pass that made me say "wow, nice pass". Even Auburn's QB did.

I'm still struggling to see how people can't see that FSU's special teams won the game for them. FSU's and poopy special teams from Auburn.

I actually wanted Auburn to win....so no. This kind of bashing just seems pointless to me. No one can annoy anything anymore. Any kind of success anyone has there's some reason that it doesn't matter.

Am I arguing he's the next Brees successor? No. But I mean give the kid some props. He stepped up big after being rattled all game

You are easily impressed. Winston didn't play well tonight...and there were several flaws exposed.

Its safe to say that anyone who wasn't impressed with Winston tonight:
1. Hasn't watched the guy play much of all year.
2. Wasn't impressed with Andrew Luck Saturday evening either.

He was able to stay composed and deliver on the biggest of stages.
He was put to the ultimate test, and passed. What more can you ask for of a freshman qb?

This is just wrong on so many levels. We are all dumber now for reading this. May God have mercy on your soul.

Here is why:
1. Kelvin Benjamin is NOT THAT GOOD. He is simply Winston's best wr.
2. FSU couldn't sniff an undefeated record with EJ MANUEL (starting NFL qb drafted like 12th overall)
3. FSU is nothing if Winston isn't there. You saw it tonight. AUBURN manhandled em on offense and defense. Just goes to show how valuable a guy like Winston is; team gets spanked and relies on their qb to deliver in crunch time, and HE DELIVERED!

Matt Leinart, Tim Tebow, Vince Young. Need I go on?

What? Leinart was clearly a system guy.
Tebow was also, and had mechanical flaws.
Vince Young most obvious bust in my memory.

Winston has it all. Obviously this is the 1st, maybe 2nd game you've actually watched of him?

That drive was impressive. Vince Young was a runner first. Your comparison is hardly accurate.

He had that crazy look in his eye like he knew they wouldn't give it up, so he had to take it. He victimized that defense on the last drive. He just assaulted them, abused them.

You get it. He's a rapist.
