Old man at Lombards said he saw him running and heard him barking about 1.25 hours ago. I've been. Calling at the last spot seen for 20 mins now. Dog is on the other side of a 100 yd wide Bayou and wind is blowing in my face. Trying my best to call and see if I can hear him.

Go check Chef Harbor Marina.... you never know, there may be someone either launching or taking the boat out that will help you out. IF not there, the rigolets marina isn't all that far. Maybe ask someone over there to bring a boat. At this point, I'd be doing anything to get across that bayou.
Or on Hwy. 11 between the flood gate and I-10. There looks to be plenty of houses/camps. I'd see if there is anyone outside that might be interested in helping.

This would be nothing short of awesome if Sushi gets his dog back. This will solidify the OB as simply the best forum and group of guys breathing oxygen.

True statement, I just wish I wasn't 300 miles away. I'd be hooked up to the boat headed that way if I was closer. Sure hope they can find him!!

Already the case, IMHO. No other board i'd rather be a part of.
