Care to make a ban bet? 8.5 point spread. 3 days for each point beyond the spread (we'll ignore the .5 either way). So if Seattle wins by 14, that's 6 * 3 = 18 days banned for me. If Saints win by 1, that's 9 *3 = 27 days banned for you, etc...

How ab I just PayPal you some $ if the saints cover. When the hawks cover I don't want anything.

No. If you promise to go through with it, I'll be down to use the spread and go with a my $20 to your $30 St. Jude donation.

Let me run the numbers I'll find you in a thread sometime during the week.

Seahawks by two touchdowns. I don't see anything that has transpired between the last matchup and today to convince me otherwise. Brees struggled against the Eagles who have the 32nd ranked pass defense. The Seahawks have the 1st. I also don't think you're going to see the Saints O-line dominate like they did against Philly.
In any event, if the Saints want to squeak out a win Brees will have to play a perfect game (and I don't just mean no interceptions, I mean high completion, moving the ball, preventing drives from stalling, and getting the ball in the end zone)… and it's been a while since he's done that on the road. I hope I'm wrong but I just don't see it. Especially now with the team down multiple key defenders.

Brees doesn't have to have a perfect game for the saints to win. That's incredibly shortsighted and based completely on the last game. Anyone who knows anything about the NFL knows that every game is different. You see it all the time. 2 teams play each other twice in the same year many many times every year and the games are almost always completely different. If the saints offense is solid and the defense is solid, the saints will win this game.

It will be close. I think Wilson will have a bad game. He has struggled in his last few games and will have a turnover at a critical point.

Seattle's run defense was 8th in DVOA. For reference, Philly was 12th, Carolina 6th, and Tampa 7th.
If the Saints commit to the run throughout the game, they will be in striking distance.

seahwaks arent beating saints twice in a season... period.

Bottom line, if the Hawks are as overconfident as their fans are, then they won't win.
Fortunately for them, Carroll won't let that happen.
IMO

If the Saints can find creativity in a run game and not just line up in an I and force it in obvious situations, I think we can run the ball. We were so damn predictable last time we were there with the calls being so intricate, that it put us behind the 8 ball right away.

Agree.
what surprised me last night the most was that the Saints bottled up McCoy. I think if the front seven can have another game similar to last night it should be interesting.
I think Keenan Lewis will play. They were probably just being safe after he got hurt last night.
O-line looked better last night, they were getting off the ball a lot better. Seattle's D is a whole other animal though. That is where they were killing the Saints last time they played.
their D-line was so fast getting off the ball.

The Cardinals overcame 4 turnovers to beat the Seahawks at home a few weeks back. The Saints can definitely win this game.
