not saying that he's not declaring, but is this similar to one of those training type outfits that we got Pocic and Garrett from?

I am not condoning anything. I think it's a stupid move, but once he makes the choice, his failure doesn't benefit any party.

Google Trai Turner and you can find rumors of him leaving early.

How many made a practice squad last year? She left but he wasn't going to be used anyway. Ford wasn't going to be used with Hill/Hillard/Blue..... Sooo

pretty much everyone that left early made a 53 man roster except Brad Wing. Montgomery was cut for weed, then picked up by Oakland. Ware was the starting FB for Seattle then placed on IR after getting hurt. Ford has been on the 53 all year. Mingo, Reid, and Matthieu all have been starters. Faulk was hurt before the draft and has been on IR all year. Simon has also been on IR since training camp. Everyone freaks out and acts like these guys are dumb for leaving early, but they're making rosters

Why do we expect Les Miles to be able to recruit New Orleans when he can't even recruit the players already on campus?

Yeah if he can't convince players that playing at LSU is better than making 450K a year than how can he convince them to come to LSU

Most teams lose players after great seasons (Landry, Hill, Beckham), LSU loses players after average seasons (Johnson, Turner, Ferguson).

Thats being generous. More like losing players after below average seasons.

things have changed a lot the last couple years with the draft. hard to tell a guy to come back and risk injury when it's not going to likely result in much more money.

Not trying to be harsh, but a few of these guys not making a roster may influence future decisions.
