Who needs one??? Romo is a top 15 qb.. I don't care about any spin move.. It makes it look like he has ZERO O-LINE by doing this.........

Really?? If he had ANY kind of O-LINE he would have to make this type of move....

Exactly, but he doesn't have a very good one, so he does have to make the move. He's very good at it, which was all I was trying to say.

I specifically said in today's NFL. And yes, I am too young to have seen them play.

isn't the eyeball test something looked at with great fondness in the state of Alabama? what makes eyeballs from other states less reliable?

You seriously need to get over 2011, dude. It wasn't the state of Alabama who put UA into the title game with the "eyeball test" argument. Those were national writers and college coaches who did that.

chill out

I was just pointing out the inconsistency. If you don't like it then be more consistent

I am a huge Russel Wilson fan, but...

I think people calling him a "winner" and one who has "it" has a lot to do with how he speaks to the media and the way he carries himself on tv during interviews. He has the attitude people like and always says the right thing.

In reality, he is on a team with the best defense and running game in the NFL and he has done a great job by not screwing up games for them. But he hasnt really won anything big yet, however i think he will in the future. We shall see...

Oh and heres my list:
Rodgers
Brady
Brees
Manning
Rivers
Big Ben
Romo
Eli (2 rings are keeping him afloat for now)
Luck
Foles
Wilson

Why does this always turn into an argument? I think Romo has proven time and time again he is not an elite QB.

I am a Saints fan and I always think would I want this guy on the Saint? No Romo is a white Aaron Brooks. He has all the tools just nothing between his ears.

ETA: Romo is pretty much doing the same thing brees did last year, both had the 2 worst defenses in NFL history. And before someone has a heart attack, no Romo is not as good a Brees and never will be

Inconsistency? Whose inconsistency? I didn't realize I had a say in who got into the 2012 BCS National Championship Game.

Perhaps you have me pegged for someone else?

yeah, he's probably a Top 8 QB.

that isn't saying much though, in my opinion.

What about the year before and the year before that? Is it always the defense? The coaches? The wide receivers? At what point does it become Romo's fault?

The thing is I like him I want him to succeed.

I don't think anyone in this thread has claimed he was an "elite" QB, whatever that is.

The term "elite", if used at all, would only apply to a select few, certainly no more than 5 or it loses any meaning whatsoever.

Only the detractors have really used that word here to provide a strawman to beat up.

How the fk is Luck on anyone's top 10 list right now? He has a bright future, but he hasn't been one of the 10 best QBs the last 2 years. shite, Dalton has been better and I don't see anyone rating him too highly.

Off the top of my head, I think my top 8 would be exactly the same, definitely top 6.

After 8, I don't necessarily disagree, I just haven't looked much into it.

But that list is on point.

Which is why I said:

I do not feel very confident about the back end of the list

The big case for Big Ben is he typically dominates YPA. I think he has a lot of top five YPA seasons.

Foles is just on a magical tear right now. I just threw a name in there. I want to put Luck cause I love that dude.
