I agree with all. The Saints should be 13-2 as we speak. Graham will be the difference on Sunday against TB. They cannot stop him.

But we shite it down the drain with continued piss poor play calling and terrible prevent defense.

Do you even Madden, bro?

You do know the D played man and sent pressure on that last Car drive, right?

This loss doesn't bother me nearly as much as last week. I didn't expect the Saints to sweep Carolina. The Panthers are a formidable team who plays much better @ home. The real choking occurred @ St. Louis. If the Saints had won there as they should've, they would only need to beat the Yuck-aneers to win the NFC South.

Truth be told, not once this season did I feel like Saints could win the Super Bowl

No serious observer of the NFL at any time this season thought that the 2013 Saints were going to win the SB outdoors in New Jersey in wintertime.

Speaking for myself, at the beginning of the season, I thought that the team would struggle to make the playoffs. Turns out I was right.

Not his fault Malcom sucks at football.

In fairness, he did "hit" thin air on the play.

Saw the Saints game before the Patriots played. They had that game won. Looks like it wasn't so much of a choke as the team (especially on the road) lacks mental toughness.

I don't know if I'd say choke. The reality is the 2013 edition of the Saints offense has not been that good. Running game is mediocre to poor and the passing game is 70% Graham and the running backs. 'course when people pointed that out earlier in the season they were branded as negative. The last few losses are simply the fruition of the struggling offense failing to get it together.

they had to get at least the second seed to have a bye and at least one home game.
That can still happen.

If the Saints win and the Panthers lose, the Saints will get the No. 2 seed in the NFC and a first-round bye. The outcome of the 49ers/Cardinals game doesn't matter.

Choked multiple times. Rams game likely ended the dream. Panthers were 50/50 at best.

Like LSU loss to Ole Miss whereas Bama was expected

Uncanny how eerily similar it was to the 49er playoff loss a few years ago. I'm not as disturbed because I've been down this road before. The scenery isn't that much different.

Been a fan since the start. I've seen it all. This is nothing new.

"choke" is, perhaps, the most meaningless, ill-defined and worthless term in all of sports.

Well, Mister Smart-arse, why don't you deign to help all of us little people and enlighten us with your Superior Intellect by explaining to us why "choke" is a bad term, and, we pray you to give to us a BETTER term invented from the well-spring and bounty of your Superior Intellect.

Nothing was on the line. The team is not good enough to win the Super Bowl, especially with the mounting injuries. Lose now v. Lose later was on the line, not everything, not a title, not a legitimate title shot.

The defense has improved more than expected. If they hold the gains roughly and fix the O line, they have a good foundation for next season.

So yes, everything was on the line. And they choked it away.

Hold this shite until the score goes final of Carolina Atlanta.

I think Carolina "chokes back" at us and loses to Atlanta.
Then the 3:30 kickoff, dome will be rocking with 2 seed on the line.

That would be great. If it happens and the Saints still lose, then yes, they're chokers and don't even belong in the playoffs anyway.

That would suck because you KNOW the cardinals will beat 49ers eliminating us... Nothing bounces our way in games we're not involved in this season
