OK. I am in Iowa though. NO is someplace I've wanted to visit. Maybe we'll eventually play in football again.

It would be nice top play when Iowa has a decent team this time though.

So you would anticipate DGAZ moving down until about WED/THUR next week then skyrocketing off of the weekly storage report?

I'm trying to decide whether to lock in gains and reposition or just let it ride...

IG, I get the aversion to trading options on an ETF, but wouldn't this have been just as much a rollercoaster if you were short August/September futures?

I don't think so. The futures price is the future's price. The etf owned the same future's contract, but didn't necessarily always track. One less thing to keep track of.

I dunno, this chart looks pretty insane.

Not really. My sales price points are throughout the thread. Now UNG on the other hand, futures would drop a dime, and UNG would hardly move. The etf to me was maddening.

Looking at that graft UNG's next rollover rebalance starts Aug 13.............

Thats when we should be looking to exit.........a 3.85 Futures would be pretty good money for KOLD.

I put 100k of my wifes retirment in KOLD at 37....If I can sell at 57..........her 2700 shares make 54k.........that is better in 6 months than she did in 6 years.

Free fall continues.

What everyone's take on when to go long? By which instrument(s) are you going long? Price targets for the security of choice and underlying?

I'm mid to late August. Selling DGAZ at $5 something. Not sure about the rest yet.

Early injection estimates are between 96-100.

DGAZ I'd like to sell at over $5. I'm averaged down on this to about $2.615. I'm going to watch.

I think $3.50 gas is possible, but don't know.

I do think I'm looking to go long mid-August. Not because that will necessarily be the bottom for this injection season, but because I think long calls should be beat down enough by them for Sept-Dec gas.

I might consider BOIL.

I await Userforce's insight. I'll say this. It's not like I'd ever give too much weight on what some random message board poster would say on the interwebz, nor would I ever expect anyone to follow what I say, but he appears to put a lot of research in to his analysis, as do I, and I will take his insight into strong consideration.

What say you User?

I need to talk to my Henry hub connect and make a call but next two weeks for sure will be pro bear...... What I'm worried about right now is the productivity may place us in a spot between Aug and Sept..... I stand by my stance that boil below 30 is a pretty safe buy to return 25% by January.

I'll get back with yall as soon as I speak to my people.

Ok 1 of my consultants says BOIL buy in is realistically STRONGEST BUY-25 SAFE 28 NEUTRAL 30

Thinks hot August could drop price considerably as futures trade up for winter months....

EXIT on KOLD RISKY 64 NEUTRAL 57 CONSERVATIVE 55

I think I will bail on KOLD around $60.

What about DGAZ? (Conservative, Neutral, Risky marks). I'm itching to get out, but it's tough to with the run it's on.

What do you think the next six months have in store for UNG? I'd like to get in and out of something in a six month window.

UNG is usually a good buy in the 18s..........and that can translate to a turn around of like 24-26 range by peak winter season from all I've seen.
