raping a girl and then TPD trying to encourage the victim not to press charges is not exactly what I'd call "bullshite"
If you think a college QB at Florida State needs to rape a chick, youre an idiot

What about not actually taking DNA from a suspect explicitly identified by the victim?

And honestly what the cops told her is true. She opens herself up to all kinds of shite if she's is possibly embellishing what happened and who she is accusing.
Why was Jamies' attorney (And the FSU football attorney) told of the allegations, but they told the victim they wouldn't interview and get DNA because they didn't want to alert Winston? Also the FSU PD had information even though they had ZERO jurisdiction. What's up with that?
It was a mishandling of information that upset the family.
Conflict. Of. Interest.

Well I'm glad you got this standard idiotic argument out of the way so I know not to take you seriously.

I was joking. You can't read that article and not say a cover up of some sort didn't happen. Not saying he's guilty or innocent but that detective is about to be in deep shite.
We don't know what the detective told her. It could be true. I don't remember Florida authorities ever doing something like this for athletes. Still, there is always a chance.

The popular QB can get any girl he wants argument is horrible. That's not how the mind of a rapist (not saying JW is one) works.

You would need a warrant.

And countless untold (and told) examples of women being pressured to keep their mouths shut by assholes who think a game is more important than their own shitty lives.

I think a positive ID from a victim in a rape case would be enough to get a warrant...

They most likely didn't pursue one.

What about the mind of a horny teenager? Because they give no fricks.
So many fricking idiots on this site.

And this is the worst thing one can do. It breeds either a culture where anyone's life can be ruined by an accusation, or where rapists are protected. Neither is good.

I don't think by saying the police have a severe conflict of interest is picking a side.

What did the D.A.'s office have to gain by not getting one?

lol at this logic....
where do people this dumb even come from?
Mindboggling.

I'm on your side, man, I wasn't referring to you at all. It's the people who automatically call JW a thug rapist and the people that automatically call the victim a drunk slut that enfuriate me.

I'm on mobile, and the internet here is crappy, so excuse me for not going back to page 1. What's the COI?

I have no idea, maybe to avoid the public backlash. But why it happened needs to come out at this point. Maybe there is no maliciousness here and they have evidence contrary to what the family is saying.
But to keep them in the dark and basically lie to them is a conflict of interest.
