Yeah that's true, they all lie, but it just depends on what the lie is I guess. I can live with a "Read my lips. No new taxes lie". Everyone knows every politician will raise taxes a little. I just don't like Mary and her "I support Louisiana and her residents by always voting yes on Big Oil.". That's just a blatant underhanded dirty lie. Your Jazz Pac says differently by giving money to folks who vote against Big Oil.

I think it's more a question of why have we reached that point? There should be a law that allows a re-vote and potential immediate jailtime for any politician that runs on a campaign promise / platform knowing full well that they can't execute on those promises.

What Obama and these democrats did knowing that it was next to impossible that their claims would not become a reality would be unlawful if they were a private citizen advertising a product.

It's one thing to make promises knowing that there may be external factors that potentially could negate your good intentions. It's quite another to make a promise knowing that it is unlikely that it comes true.

I bet they kept their healthcare. I'm sure that's what they mean't. They would keep their healthcare.
