Billfish 21 I assure you I bleed purple and gold. Been a fan since the Curley days and a diehard since the dinardo era began. I'll never forget the win that I believe brought " the magic back" so to speak. It was when un ranked LSU beat # 5 Auburn at home with a interception to seal the victory. Can't quite remember the exact year but I know it wasn't on ESPN or anything bc I was listening to it on the radio , and yes I had TV and cable and all that. I think it was Tory James who made the pick too. LSU jumped to # 15 in the polls after that win. LSU was back after that.

Because I wasn't sure ok ! Jeez I don't know every damn fact about LSU football . I asked because I wanted to know the answer. I took an educated guess saying 2000 and it turns out I was right.

you seem to want to post negative stuff. If you really are an LSu fan I'm sorry but we've had a number of incidents where an opposing team's fans have registered on here and tried to pretend to be an LSU fan to stir up shite.

Was I right about Tory James making that INT to win the Auburn game? If I were an aggie how in the hell would I remember something insignificant like that . Wasn't like that game was important on a national level . It wasn't even televised , I'm sure tiger vision carried it but ESPN wasn't and no other major networks sure as hell were not showing any LSU games then. I'm all LSU .

Troy Twillie , thank you. Knew first name was something like Tory. Well anyway , I'll never forget Hawthorne screaming after the INT and Tiger stadium erupted. It sounded loud on the radio, can only imagine what it sounded like in the stadium.
