yes they did but they also had a head coach that was talking about hot piss and their team was dead in the water.

A closer situation to this year is probably 08. It appears the wheels have come off with how our line decided to get mett killed on the last series. If we get gashed by a&m i dont see us pulling together a great effort vs arky. They may or may not beat us but i dont see us whipping them if we are coming off back to back losses.

How in the world did we beat Auburn?

Momentum!!! Tigers were hot, cocky and had every right to be so!! Tigers got up early 21 - 0, then got conservative, but scored at will when needed because the team had MOMENTUM and KNEW they were the better team. All that was lost after the UGA game for whatever reason....

Florida, Ole Miss, and TCU ended up not being good football teams, and UGA lost their best player. And, we caught Auburn in a rainstorm before they got rolling. Schedule wasn't as hard as everyone acted.

Expectations adjust, but the sunshine pumpers keep saying what people thought before the year.

shite, it was a 4 point game with an FCS school at half time three weeks ago

What the frick does this have to do with ANYTHING? shite, we were tied with Bama in the third quarter. We were ahead in the second quarter.

You are using the halftime score of a completely useless meaningless game to try and prove your point. That pretty much puts on display how valuable and legit your point is.

No way. All the super stars departing on offense still have plenty to play for. Mett, Hill, OBJ, and Landry can all light it the frick up against A&M and Arkansas' shitty defenses. They almost need these games for draft stock.

The offensive line play can be average and we roll on them.

The players on defense can start making their case for starting next season because there will likely be some changes.

My point is that Lsu plays up or down depending on who they play.

Maybe that flew over your head.

Tempers are flaring, and rightfully so. A win over A&M would do wonders for the collective blood pressure of Tiger Nation.

Ole Miss is actually a good football team.

Their only losses are to Alabama, Auburn, and A&M. They also blew out Texas at Texas who happens to be undefeated in the Big 12 right now.

Well then according to that logic LSU should play well in this game:

Would it surprise ANYONE if Lsu got gashed by manziel in a loss

i hope we see changes the next few games but its a bit late for that.

hill, mett, landry and obj all need the oline to not quit like it did saturday. If the oline has quit for good which is highly possible then it wont really mater how good mett is from here on out because he wont last a full game.

I just dont see the team giving much effort if we lose to a&m. some players like the guys you listed might but when whole units stop trying its almost a lost cause at that point.

We played an Ole Miss team missing a ton of starters, much how UGA was a different team as the year went on

So what. Your comment was that they ended up not being a good football team. That is an inaccurate statement.

Choctaw, from the start of the season, I said with our schedule, we would be lucky to finish 8&4! I stand by that, maybe if u watched more football u would catch up instead of bitching at every other ranter that does not agree with you! :rimshot:

When we played them, they weren't. Like when Vandy beat UGA. Each game is an independent thing, that wasn't the ole miss team that beat Texas in Texas

on defense, which was not their strength to begin with. All it took was a few bonehead turnovers and their near fully intact offense to play keep away against our mediocre defense.

LSU had no business losing to a team missing half it's defensive starters.

People can deflect all they want to, but that loss should not have happened.

Not their strength, missing a bunch of starters. Got a bunch of turnovers.

That loss should never have happened

I specifically remember you posting 8-4 and I remember thinking that was crazy.
