I was sitting in the suite next to Jerry's tonight and I can tell you that him and his crew were not happy. He looked embarassed.

It was be so hilarious if Jerry Jones and the University of Texas got in a bidding war for Saban.

Funniest thing is he's going to have to get a retread because pretty much everyone knows how bad their cap situation is going to be and they are going to have to fire Kiffin after the season a la the Saints firing Spags last season.

It is the Dallas Cowboys.
Jerry Jones is going to have to go out and get a big name. Garrett ain't getting it done. I would say there isn't a big name in the NFL that would create excitement for the organization. As someone stated it would be some retread. If the Cowboys were to go after any college coach it would have to be Saban. That is just my opinion.
I know it won't end up happening.
I do think the the Cowboys or Longhorns are the only teams Saban would ever consider leaving Alabama if he ever did make a crazy decision and leave. They are also the only teams I could see actually putting up the money to possibly make it happen.

Right... and with Jery's history of meddling I don't think Saban would even consider Dallas even with promises of full control.
Eventually Jerry will still undermine him ala Jimmy Johnson.
