You people who keep talking down Bama's academics have ZERO IDEA what you are talking about and need to keep your stupid mouths shut.

First of all, you're wrong about the admissions standards. Second of all, you know what Alabama does? It actually pumps money into the school. It hires faculty instead of watching them leave in droves. It builds buildings (other than new upper decks on the stadium) instead of watching them crumble. I say this as a guy with 2 degrees from LSU and a son at Alabama. You idiots have no clue. Keep living in your dream world.

The university is supposed to make a selection on the developer in the next few months. Probably be completed in August of 15 or 16, depending on the final plans.

You do understand all athletic facility upgrades are privately funded by TAF and not a penny is spent by the school itself right?

Oh I understand that completely. I'm just making the observation that the only time you see a construction crane on campus is when they're adding to the stadium. One cannot even walk around the Alabama campus without being diverted because of the construction of academic buildings. My point is, simply, that academically LSU is not keeping up. Not with Alabama, not with anybody. It's because of our shitty politics first and foremost.

EL OH EL. So much stupid in this statement

Are you one of these guys who thinks the state of LSU as a whole, and not just the athletic department, is perfectly fine? Because many on this board either don't know or don't care.

Now I know you haven't been to the LSU campus in years. LSU literally built a state of the art giant business building less than 3 years ago. Sorry you are an idiot.

Actually, I've toured it. You clearly don't get it. Alabama has constructed at least 6 buildings in the last 2 years that make LSU's business school look "meh."

Just yesterday I noticed that the University of Alabama has at least a dozen buildings under construction/renovation.

Hell, even the GARBAGE TRUCKS that service the university are painted crimson and have the "Script A" painted on the side and are cleaner than your great granddaddy's skull.

Agree with the OP 100%...They are a strange crowd...Those obsessive videos and strength coach screaming chants are terrible.
