Shocking that peli fans are so bitter towards Houston. The insecurity is strong in this thread

Harden is a dick and Howard is a dick. The hate is hardly limited to Pelicans fans. Harden got away with a really blatant foul call late in that game, flops close to CP3 levels/doesn't even look as clever doing it, and whines at the officials all game even though he's taking 16 FT's. He is infuriating to watch. The throw your head back cause you just got fouled move is brutal. And he gets the call every time for doing it. Nothing more need be said about Howard.

Put simply, you don't see us hating on the Spurs because we respect them. Don't you even try to lump C on Z with us either. There is nothing to respect about the Rockets. They have 2 of the most hate-able, self entitled stars on the same team that haven't actually accomplished anything.

its impossible to be a 50% FT shooter if you actually take it seriously and work at it.

Karl Malone came out of college at around 50-55% but put some effort into it and ended up somewhere in the mid-70% range. So it can be done, but you have to be willing, and Dwight has never shown an interest.

(Thankfully Cuban didn't get his wish and sign him. The fans would beg for Lamar Odom to come back.)

By whom?

Houston isn't a Super Team. They should be very good though.

I'd still take Dwight right now. Doesnt change that he is an a-hole who doesnt work at his game hard enough.

Malone shot 63% in college. So, you know, at least look up your "facts".

It seems to be solely pelicans fans in this thread wishing for the rox to meltdown.

You obviously watch a lot of rockets games.

The only people who think the Rockets are a Super Team are Rockets fans. They aren't.

If they had a Kevin Durant or something, then they are a Super Team. That doesn't mean they aren't really good.

Harden's defense or lack there of is almost for sure the reason OKC chose Ibaka over him.

I thought it was because they had what harden is in westbrook/durant. they needed a defensive big's presence and that is what ibaka gives them..

Howard has no excuse for his shitty ft%. Height is not a disadvantage. Big Z was a 7'3 center shooting 78% for his career. Yao Ming was 7'6 shooting 83.3% for his career too. No excuses why he can't at least hit 70%

The frick are you talking about? Dwight has hired shooting coaches to help him.

He hired Ed Palubinskas.

Charles Richardson was hired to work with Dwight when he was on the Magic:

https://youtu.be/2tQYLwiNSuE

He had Chuck Person working with him when he was on the Lakers:

"The Los Angeles Lakers have assistant coach Chuck Person working on it with him and apparently Howard has committed to becoming a better shooter from the line."

https://www.examiner.com/article/la-lakers-rumors-dwight-howard-free-throw-shooting-improves

And with the Rockets he'es been working with coaches to improve his shooting:

So clearly, you speak of which you do not know.

Ibaka's defense is fairly overrated. Not saying he is bad, but he in no way deserved to finish 3rd in DPOY voting. Then again, Marc Gasol shouldn't have won it either.
