Tim was being supported by a LSU booster. In fact, Tim's brother still works for that booster. Biggest mistake booster made was the first recruiting trip he took him on as a freshman was to Bama and Saban.
Tim had 4 years to build it up in his mind. Young kids are easily influenced, and basically he just wanted to buy the first thing he saw because he thought it was the best.
