We will take another OL. Derek ponamsky said the ideal number coaches would like to take is 4 so I don't doubt we take at least 3

Dont think any mentioned in this thread will be in the class. If we take one(i think we will) then its likely someone under the radar to us right now or a juco kid.

Sharpe-we're too late getting in it. Not impossible(see Tunsil last year who went ot OM on a whim and ended up there). UGA?UF are gonna be hard to beat

Mama-USC depending on the hire. After that ND and Bama are the 2 to watch. Doesn't hurt to get him in but just dont see him signing

CRob-long story short, as long as Saban is there and no wrongdoing is proven, he'll be at Bama. Good to see the staff trying though

Wallace-seems content to stay midwest or go to Bama. Has shown no interest in us even though we have in him. If he ever visitis then maybe but I doubt it ever happens

No wrongdoing is proven.

The entire CROB recruitment was full of wrong doing from day 1.

NCAA would never investigate little nicky

Agreed. LSU in my opinion has been out recruiting Alabama and most schools at skill position positions. But has continually fallen short on the line. Specifically the Offensive line. Our D has been sick in recent years and yes we had great DB's but it was the D-line that was always the anchor. It makes everyone elses job so much easier. Look at how it covered up subpar LB play.

You fail at line you will struggle. Period.

I would take at least 8 Off. and defensive lineman every year if it was up to me.

Our O-line is pretty good this year. We'll probably end up with a 1,000 yard rusher and 2 500 yard rushers. Most of those guys are underclassman too. So I would say we've done well in the last few classes.

LSU has run into a string of bad luck in regards to the OL, that has clouded the perception a little bit. Hurst, Faulk and Williford are examples of this.

I realize our offensive line this year is solid. I am not talking about a specific LSU line. Just a philosophy. People love to talk about the guys that score the touchdowns but it is the guys in the trenches that determine the outcome of games. Doing it play by play instead of one spectacular catch or something.

I would imagine it wouldn't be a big name. Probably someone like Jordan Sims, Dontrell Small, Elijah Rodriguez, Trevionne Pratt or someone like that.

Jordan Sims won't leave Alabama.

I think they swing for the fences with Sharpe and if not him it will be somebody we haven't heard much about to this point. Unless Saban goes to Texas then Cam Rob flips

Faulk and Williford had season-ending injuries and Hurst had some kind of personal crisis and quit after the Florida game last year.

At least in Faulk's case.. Highly touted recruit, projected high draft pick, then blows out his knee.

The other two aren't really on the same level as Faulk was.. However I think the guys we have now have a lot of talent and will help with the perception of the LSU oline and the draft. Collins should go in the first few rounds, Trai Turner and Vadal Alexander should when they come out too. Then guys like Boutte, Pocic, and Hawkins have shown flashes of great ability as well.

It's hard to complain about the offensive line recruiting. We've come a long way from having to take case like Carnel Stewart and start him for a season.

Our offensive line depth has been pretty good the past few years.
