One thing I never skimp on. I can't trust anyone but myself in the woods. Best of luck to your future hunt.

I wouldn't be anywhere near a wma during gun season. If I had to then I would have flashing lights and sirens on my arse for sure.

Plan your trip when the refuge you plan to hunt is closed to guns, and squirels if your planning to climb a tree

They used to stop squirrel hunting when bow opened. Not anymore. You can scout your arse off. Find the greatest place ever 2.5 miles back there, and still have a squirrel hunter walk up under you at first light.

I'm planning on stalking the deer, I don't believe in hunting out of blinds or trees. @DirtyMikeandtheBoys I'm not "Flaming" the board, I had a simple question and it has been answered, don't make yourself look like more of an idiot than you already did.

the only issue I have ever had on a WMA was last year, in which I am 95% sure I had my deer stolen from me

Your extensive post history says otherwise. I will admit in this thread you seem to have changed your tune. But that could be just to avoid detection.

the last fatal accidental shooting in LA on public land I am aware of was on Bogue Chitto NWR... oddly

very near where they had that kooky clan murder a couple of years ago...

in 1981 i was skipping school and hunting a wma.. and a stoned out of his mind bow hunter.. .sent a warning arrow my way.. because "I was in his area" and he didn't wanna spook the deer..

that was the first bow hunter I ever encountered or met.. he rubbed me the wrong way...
