I usually don't give these for free....but it is Halloween and all Saints day tomorrow. Saturdays plays coming to you later...
Race 6) Marathon Picks: 4, 6, 3, 2.
4) Ever Rider: the only one with distance experience, plus a hot HOF rider in Stevens.
6) Indian Jones: son of Smarty is going to take to this extended route, and has shown an uncanny ability to hit the board.
3) Commander: he needs to be challenged early, or he’s a gate-to-wire threat.
2) Cease: exits a sprint win and a class drop; hot barn will have him ready for the stretch-out.
Race 7) Juvenile Turf Picks: 5, 4, 13, 3.
5) Bobby’s Kitten: another graded stakes winner by the Ramsey’s champion sire Kitten’s Joy. His G3 Pilgrim score in last was powerful.
4) Outstrip: two-time stakes winner in Britain, gets the services of Mike Smith, plus a firm turf.
13) Bashart: draw a line thru last, surface switch cost him. Grade 2 victor is a legit win threat; Pletcher/Velasquez almost 30 percent.
3) Got Shades: stayed on for third here in the Zuma Beach following a couple of stakes scores at LaD. Stevens should be able to get him in the supers.
Race 8) Dirt Mile Picks: 11, 5, 12, 4.
11) Pants On Fire: exits a driving win in the G3 Ack Ack and is a four-time winner with a second and third at this distance.
5) Fed Biz: with 3 wins here and at the mile, one would think Baffert is ready to end his current BC losing streak; he comes up just short.
12) Goldencents: enters having placed in three straight, all against top shelf graded company, however he’s won over a half-mil here, and is a must use for me in multi-race wagers.
4) Brujo de Olleros: he was charging late last out to place in the Kelso; that winner isn’t here.
Race 9) Juvenile Fillies Turf Picks: 14, 6, 12, 10, 4.
14) My Conquestadory: 2 starts, 2 graded wins, the last coming with a dynamic middle move to take the Grade 1 Alcibiades.
6) Vorda: French filly stretches out for the first time following a couple of graded scores sprinting in France and last at Newmarket.
12) Testa Rossi: one of four from the Chad Brown barn, and another of French breeding. She’s won four straight, including the Miss Grillo last out.
10) Clenor: enters on three race streak, all at the mile.
4) Kitten’s Kaboodle: Ramsey’s, Kitten’s Joy, Chad Brown; you get the point.
Race 10) Distaff Picks: 5, 4, 6, 3.
5) Beholder: she’s won or placed in her last ten, winning five here, plus she doesn’t have to ship.
4) Royal Delta: returning champ rarely misses twice.
6) Princess of Slymar: winner of 4 straight Grade 1’s, the last coming over the champ in the Beldame; however makes her first cross-country trip.
3) Close Hatches: Mott filly enters having taken back-to-back G1’s, but is another first timer to cross the country.

Hey buddy!!!
What's up. I haven't even really looked at the races yet. I have been swamped at work due to our court house flooding due to a busted pipe. Hopefully we will get done early so I can get home to watch them all tomorrow. Although, they postponed Trick or Treating until tomorrow because of weather.

Hey Aspy, I was curious. I saw where you were talking about Gantry? Do you own him? He's a pretty cool horse. I've watched him race at the Fairgrounds numerous times.

For what its worth, these are the spots I'm picking:
Dirt Mile: Exacta box, Verrazano and Holy Lute
JFT: Exacta Box Clenor and Kittenkaboodles
Distaff: Tri box, Beholder, Princess, and Royal Delta. Obvious, but may pay better than you think.
FMT: Nice win bet on Emollient. Really like this horse.
Classic: Exacta Box, Will Take Charge and Moreno.
That's all for this year. Will go to Keeneland this afternoon to make bets, then come home to watch. Will be going to UK football Saturday night, so I won't know the Classic results till late. Terrible cell reception at Commonwealth.
Good luck all

Been hearing santa anita playing ridiculously fast. Simon Bray just said that 13 of the past 14 races on the main track the winner was no worse than 2nd at every point of call. Ugh!!!

Thanks Seeeek!
I wish! My husband is the assistant. I'm hoping for a good winter for Gantry. He is a fun horse to be around. Took us to the breeders cup last year, but hated the track. Never ran a step.
Also, to the speed bias...
frick.
I hate this shite. I really hope they eventually start rotating again, but Santa Anita has it next year again and I think they are gunning for del mar the year after

If anyone is watching today's undercard at Santa Anita, please let us know if this is still true.

I'm going to try to check out most of the earlier races today.
Was listening to the handicapper and jay randolph on the breeders cup show, locally.
last thing he said was, " Check out the first 4-5 races, if there is a bias, don't fight it, even if you have to rewrite your whole form, selection, etc".
Value+Bias= Winning.
Stubbornness+Bias= Me, ripping up tickets.
