Your flame was rather scattershot and your proposed new stadium does look like a cyborg's a-hole so I'm not sure why you're so mad really

Actually that is a misconception because of prior years. There are many fans (maybe not as many as some other fanchises) but, certainly we do have a strong following who can and does fill the seats.

I don't think you want to get into a numbers contest hoss, especially if you're resorting to the annual sec title game.

This thread is dumb. I hope the stadium is great,

Yeah, it's not like it's ever hosted one of the largest sporting events in the world or anything like that.

The GA Dome has hosted something much bigger than a super bowl.

I think he was going with the Fenway, Candlestick, Lambo field type of thing. No one says "I want to see the superdome!"

I actually was excited to see candlestick. Cool location on the bay. Although I think I agree it isn't in the category with the others I listed.

I did get one favorite when I tweeted out I was going there though!

Very diverse place in terms of different lifestyles you can live. It also depends on your job. Live near your work and you will love living in the metro atl. There is a reason atlanta is growing at such a rapid pace, great job opportunities, great food, good standard of living, and not far from the mountains or the beach.

Normally those that like to put it down are either misinformed, don't know what to do, or are stuck in forever "hate rival team city" mode for immature reasons.

I lived in Duluth for several years. Loved it. Also, I was close to the Jackets.

It's too much. I don't like the roof panels and the hole looks like it will provide awkward lighting. Good for them though, the tens of die hard fans will surely enjoy it.

Gymnastics, team handball, and some of the basketball games during the 96 Olympics IS NOT "hosting the Olympics at the Georgia Dome".

Some of the cycling events were held at the Dick Lane Velodrome around the corner from my house. Does that mean that East Point hosted the Olympics? frick no.

That you've resorted to such an intellectually dishonest argument proves that your point is weak.

My bad with the double post. Nothing against the new stadium, but I drive past the GA Dome every morning and I attend a game or two there every year. There is nothing wrong with it. The reason for this new stadium is Blank's greed. Plain and simple.

They even went for realism in the renderings by leaving it empty.
