Should be nice. I just hate the endzone Window design on these new stadiums.

Too bad it's still Atlanta.

Why was the Georgia dome even built to begin with? It's less than 20 years old, and it's already outdated??

I find it very interesting how people would love to think Atlanta has not been getting better every year since the 90's.
I would assume many who think this are either blinded by their homerism, don't actually know where to go or what to do when they are in the city or dont have the money to have a good time.
You will have a good time and eat well in Atlanta. You all sound like the city pissed in your corn flakes.

Falcons were done with their contract at Fulton County Stadium and was hopefully a draw for the Olympics.

I like Atlanta, but I hate the Falcons. Had a lot of fun in Buckhead, and a great time in the city.
With that said, I really dislike this stadium. It's way too corporate for my taste. I hate the uneven endzone seating. And, the hole in the roof does kinda look like an a-hole, I have to agree.
The outside of the stadium is unique, and will probably look really cool. Just not a fan of what it looks like inside. It will likely bring in Superbowls, worldcup, etc. just don't care for it at all, honestly.

It took a while for peoples perceptions of NYC to change as well. Downtown ATL used to be a great place to get robbed or killed, takes a minute for that to wear off.

I hate retractable roof stadiums. Either build a dome or an open air stadium

You have to remember you are on a LA based message board. I could post the same thing about nola on GA boards and get the same retarded comments.

No they don't. Not even close.

Buckhead was a much better place to party in the early - mid 90's. It's a lot different now.

The stadium has been approved. Let's move on.
