coach Karl Morgan of Valley will tell you they are shite. Straight up.

He puts his money, his own time and effort into building and cleaning things for his football team.

Prairie View A&M also has it worse than Grambling.

Yeah JSU! How dare you try and hold Grambling accountable for not fulfilling their contractual obligations!?!?! It would be more newsworthy if they DIDN'T sue Grambling.

Yes. Yes, they do know that and they show up every week and play hard.

PView is one of the better teams in the SWAC.

A few years back the MVSU stadium was basically condemned for being structurally unsound. The team was forced to play its home games at a nearby high school stadium.

Sad day for my beloved SWAC. Eddie Robinson is turning over in his grave. On one hand im glad the players took a stand, but on the other hand I think they are a bunch of pussies.

Their facilites didnt become like this overnight..why didnt they protest a few years back when they were winning the SWAC west? Why wait until you suck arse this year about to go against the #1 team in the SWAC?

If a storied 1-AA program like GSU has facilities like this, I wonder what Mississippi Valley State's facilites look like. They are the poorest school in the poorest state, yet their players are not pulling stuff like this.

Exactly. I had no problem with the practice walk out & even if they did it for the remainder of the season ,as a protracted protest ,would be fine, but show up Saturday.

This is more about whiny Teens who didn't like how their Coach was fired & replaced by an unpopular one(without their damn input for whatever the hell that's worth).

Now all of a sudden they have a problem with the facilities that it is so detrimental to their health that they can't compete (even though Health Inspectors contradicted this lie & says there were NO HEALTH Hazards) ?

Their foolishness & whomever put them up to/encouraged this cost not only Grambling ,but Jackson State kids as well.

Glad Bama State doesnt have that poblem..while our facilities are small, they are world class on 1-AA standards. We may possibly have the best stadium at that level & the main football building is top of the line. Our bball arena was built in the 90s but it is still one of the best in the state & FCS.

While I was a student there, players shared a small weight room with regular students. The football offices were in old arse trailers. I would hate to leave the SWAC & fellow HBCUs behind, but Bama State, Southern & Jackson should look into going to another conference while the rest of the SWAC goes to D-2.

I'm not too familiar with facilities, but Pine Bluff has a really nice stadium.

World class? I did hear that Alabama State was once considering being the first hbcu to seriously consider moving up to FBS( 1-A) . Whatever happened to that?

Maybe so I hear Tennessee State is doing fairly well in the OVC..

Google Alabama State new football stadium & football complex. Pretty good by FCS standards. I think FAMU tried to go FBS a few years ago & failed. I wouldnt mind us being in the Sun Belt. We wouldnt do shite in football but we can hang with that conference in basketball.

Before they think about moving up in athletics I hope they have a plan to improve academics.
