It appears that they shouldn't have hired him in the first place the 2nd time around.

Yeah they should've, he's their best hope. They should've moved aside and begged him to be the Roger Cador of Grambling football. How easy would it be for Williams to call TB(who he worked for like 4 years ago) or Washington(currently in the biggest PR nightmare in football) and get them to send some fricking Muscle Milk or many other things Grambling is lacking?

Grambling AD says departure time pushed back

He's got <30 minutes to smooth things over. Good luck to him.

Im going to agree with this. Isolating your most prominent athletic alum is a really bad idea from a business standpoint. Now everything C on Z said may be true, i have not watched Grambling football, but theres not a chance in hell hes a shitty enough football coach to warrant this.
I'll also admit if you asked me to side with bin laden or the grambling admin, id side with bin laden without even hearing the dispute. so i might be a tad jaded on the issue.

Seems like the lack of amenities thing was occurring during Doug's time there. How come that advantage wasn't utilized then?

Has anyone asked why the university put itself in this position in the first place? Why the hell did they bus players 20+ hours round trip to Indianapolis to play Alcorn?

as previously posted, the corrupt admin has blocked improvements and amenities before due to pure greed. if they cant get their kickback out of the deal then no improvements to be had.

I all makes sense now.

I saw in the article, where he could not even label the parking lots for his staff. If you can't even do that then something's definitely wrong with that leadership.

that article was written at 2:57 our time. So the deadline hadn't been reached yet.

The whole SWAC is a joke. Grambling just happens to be a little worse than the rest.

Where is this alumni network to contribute money? Pretty sad their own alumni won't give any money to support the program.

I had no idea this was going on. Very interesting story.

On a side note I think all athletic programs should be self sustainable or cut. The swac would shutdown overnight

Is it bad I'm considering on playing Jackson St. -29.5. I normally don't bet on SWAC games, but it seems like an opportunity to make some easy money.
