We have 6 games remaining. We are taking it one game at a time. I hope we make it to the finish line.

What if UCLA goes undefeated? Could they possibly jump one of the 1-loss SEC teams like LSU? People forget they are very good this year. Quietly having an incredible season.

It's almost too easy.

you know, the way those polls are lining up.. a 1 loss LSU team might just finish ahead of an undefeated tOSU.

Winner of seccg goes to NCG. No questions asked. I would even argue the USCe goes if they win the SEC.

If LSU wins out and wins the SECCG we will get in over tOSU.

The NCG would be a joke without an SEC representative. The public wants to see Oregon/Clemson/Ohio state be the man. How can someone else be the man if they don't get a chance to beat the man.

No way a 1loss Bama or LSU doesn't go. Even if there are 10 undefeated teams.

FSU plays Clemson this weekend. Go FSU.

Florida State is a better team imo, and less likely to lose after this week. I think it would be better if Clemson won.

They absolutely would and they should. To go undefeated they still have to beat Stanford and then Oregon twice.

This doesn't look as plausible this year. I'm thinking Oregon wins by 3 touches.

Also think the voters will penalize OSU when they're playing teams like Illinois/Indiana while we're playing teams like Bama/ATM.

LSU will not jump an unbeaten Ohio State IMHO.

With the exception of Louisville any currently unbeaten team will play in the BCSNG game before a once beaten LSU team. Its unlikely we would jump an unbeaten Oregon or an unbeaten Clemson or an unbeaten FSU or an unbeaten Ohio State.

I believe both Clemson and FSU will drop a game. If we take care of business in Tuscaloosa and Atlanta then its Oregon and OSU who are the biggest obstacles.

For one loss LSU to make the national championship the only other thing (aside from winning out) that needs to happen is either the PAC-12 or ACC champion needs to have one loss. That's it

LSU will get a big bump in the human polls after beating Alabama, and will get smaller bumps from beating A&M and the SEC-c.

I'm a scenario with Oregon 1, OSU 2 and LSU 3 in the human polls the difference in points will be very close, and LSUs computer ratings will push them past it.

And to be honest, I'm not totally sure there won't be some media saying "LSU is the better team, played tougher schedule, won best conference" that nullifies or overcomes anti-SEC and brand name loyalty.

they are a big name, traditional power and will get the benefit of the doubt. they don't need a quality win to make the NCG. See Bama 2011.
