im really hoping for this. someone close to Oliver has to blame him and go towards the dark side, imo. Thea has been set up perfectly for this. I cant wait to see Oliver forced to work with Malcolm in order to defeat Slade.
idk if i buy into the "Sara left to get Malcolm" theory. does she really even know him? I thought after the "im a killer" speech it was pretty clear she went back to the league, which I think will play into next season a lot.
these are incredible show runners, i have to say. they really have this show well thought out and have given it great direction.

When she was talking to one of the League's guys who was sent to get her, she mentioned that they let Malcolm out of the League so why not let her out. So she knows who he is at least. With that said though, I don't know if she'd go get him to help Oliver. Maybe she is going to get the League itself, or someone else in the League, to help.

but if she was coming back why would she make that dramatic speech about being a killer and needing to go away? that doesnt exactly resonate as someone whos just going to get help and will be right back. looked like she was riding off into the distance

If I was Sara I would bring in Oenomaus or Gannicus. They could handle Crixus.

I would normally agree but didn't Roy do the same thing a few weeks ago only to return the very next episode? That being said, I wouldn't mind a hiatus from Sara.

I read that as galactus. He could probably handle slade without too much difficulty.

she could totally pop back up. as you said, id like her to disappear for a bit. i think shes going back to the league who become involved next season.

My biggest problem with the theory that she has left and isn't planning on coming back is that she knows how much danger Slade poses for everyone she cares about. She knows Oliver can't fight him alone. That's been made evident by there many conversations about Slade this season. So why would she just up and leave knowing that Slade could possibly be targeting everyone she cares about including Laural?
Also I think her words to Sin about needing to go find someone kind of leads me to think she has decided to go find someone to help. Heck, I've been wrong about the plot directions many times with this show, so it wouldn't surpise me that you are right. But I just don't see how she could abandon everyone right when she is needed the most to help take out Slade.

what if its huntress? oliver explicitly mentions her to Sara about the killing thing. last we saw Huntress was trying to turn a new leaf after the death of her father. redemption time? birds of prey pt2? idk.

Sara could handle Huntress in a fight, don't see how she'd think Huntress would be any help against Slade.

Keep in mind that Slade is building an army of super solders. So what if she's going to get an army of assassins? How cool would it be to have Oliver, Diggle, and Roy facing an army of Slade's solders with apparently little hope of winning, and then all of a sudden you see the League (or some portion of them) come out of the shadows to help Oliver take out Slades army?
