These are college students and college athletes...frick the media...there's no upside in dealing with these parasites...lol...if I were the coach, I'd much prefer my players keep their nose in the school books and the play book...stay focused on the team goals...it's a team sport...the media only cares about their needs, not the needs of LSU players or the team...it's a business for them...let them eat cake!

Quail "man" must be one of those losers that feel Les "owes" him information about injuries and secret gameplans and such.

I don't take it that way all. It comes off as focus to me. I'm sure Miles is ok with this.

Agreed. Moron, loser, douche all seem appropriate when referring to quail.

Players don't have to:

be interviewed
act like asses when they score
mouth off and create bulletin board material

Players may:

focus on the game
focus on improvement
Focus on those that surround them and tell the media and the Rant to jump in the lake.

Who the hell wants to talk to the retards in the media when he can come on here and get all he needs?

I wouldn't want to be reminded either that I lost my team the UF game last year either.

It would probably bring up the UGA muff too.

Serious? Maybe so if it was the day after the game. But a year later?? Child like would describe the questioners at this stage in the game.

It's college football. He doesn't have to answer to the media or the fans for his mistakes.

He looked pouty on sidelines Saturday.

Anyone else notice it?
His last TD he didn't smile or engage teammates.... Went over to bench put towel on.

I thought it was strange when I watched replay.

Beckham Jr is a very serious, intense young man. Blames himself for the Florida loss last year and the GA loss this year. Would rather let his performance do the talking, how refreshing and out of place these days.

I have zero issue with this at all. Reporters just gonna try and grill the kid for past mistakes that have absolutely no bearing on the Florida game.

great, so why not do it here? one day, take the questions, get it over with. then it's a non story. by refusing interviews, it becomes a story.

He did take questions, last year when it happened. And then again when it was asked at media day this preseason.

But yeah, he definitely owes it to us to talk more about it this week a year after it happened.

He is a college kid not getting paid. Why should he have to answer some fat guys questions just to stir the pot.

He doesn't owe me. On what basis does he owe you?

Do you pay him? Does he work for you? Just how many times do you require that he address the media on these issues? Should he keep those in his head going into this game so he he gets nervous and rattled and does it again?

Why does he owe you?

He doesn't.

He owes himself, his team and coaches. He owes you nada.
