Nuts. I saw Rush last week and I've been reading about open-wheel racing since. It is so intense. This accident doesn't have shite on the 1955 Le Mans disaster that killed 83 spectators and injured over 120! LINK

There was another pretty crazy crash in the American LeMans race later, but the driver walked away.
