Still waiting...if I'm still alive, I'm going Denver.
re: Week 6 Survivor PicksPosted by Brageous on 10/7/13 at 8:17 am to Michael J Cocks
I'm not sure yet. Initially want to save Denver but it's tough to turn down a gimme. Bears possibly at home vs Giants. I want to save Denver for week 8 against washington because there aren't any great games that week. May do SF @ home vs zona as well but that's a division game so it's tough.
Here's my teams used so far:
1 Indianapolis Alive
2 Oakland Alive
3 Seattle Alive
4 New Orleans Alive
5 St. Louis Alive

Yep...can't pass that up.
I'm done "saving" teams...has never worked for me.

It's a chance. I won it a few years ago on here and saved 2, maybe 3 times. I try not to do it often, though. I'll keep looking at the full schedule to see what I have left and matchups and see how comfortable I am.

I wish I still had Denver.
It's been sucking lately where Jax is either playing the best team in the league, or the team that might be worse.
I liked it better when they played middle of the road teams that you knew could beat them, but didn't feel like you were wasting your best pick on Jacksonville.

Cinci already lost to what people thought were a bad Browns team and their relatively obscure, replacement QB.
My only argument there is Cincy-Buff wont be a thursday night game.

Still waiting, but if I survive my best options are KC, 49ers, or Houston.

Could be a trap game. Giants have to win sometime soon.

not really
have you seen that abomination of a team play?
Eli has 12 picks in 5 games...he's gonna break the opposite record as his brother this year

Exactly my thoughts, and can you really trust cutler?

If I survive with Atlanta tonight, I am definitely going with Denver in Week 6. After that, you can only feel great about using them in Week 8 (home vs. Washington) and Week 14 (home vs. Tennessee). In between, at Indy, vs. KC x2, at NE, at SD. None of those are great plays.

To those who had the Chargers last night:

I ran the table a few years ago simply playing against the chiefs (2-14) and lions (0-16) every week.
I have the Falcons tonight (hoping to lose of course).
For next week I'm trying to decide between the Broncos and Denver. It's really a tough decision and neither is an absolute lock, but I get paid the big bucks to make these tough decisions. Sleep may be lost.

Yeah tough choice, but I think you should go with Peyton Manning's team instead.
