Enjoy. Basically have gold and manna mines and storage to get resources to build troops, walls, etc and upgrade as you go

In case some of you don't know, your base can't be raided while you're online. So if you are trying to save up for a big purchase, but you are waiting on troops to build or something, don't close the game. Just leave it open while you wait and your stuff will be safe.

Level your town hall up to about level 6 or 7 and stop. Then just focus on leveling your heroes up.

That's a good habit to have, but sometimes you might need to do as I suggested.
For example, I needed 890k gold to upgrade my mana storage, but I only had 790k and all my troops had just died so I couldn't raid. I had to leave the app open for 30 minutes waiting on troops so I could raid that last 100k.
