So I tried H. I made it to wave 5, which at first might sound like I had a shot to beat it. I didn't have a shot, and that was clear after wave 1. Those thopters are just too strong, my towers were worthless. I think I need some other buildings inside my walls to soak up damage after the towers fall.

Like I mentioned last night, if we had 10 guys that can do 30% damage in 1 round, then if we all start when the boss has at least 30% health left, then 10 people can each get their 30% (totaling 300% damage to the boss) and all get max HB. This works the same whether the boss starts at 100%, or if one guy goes first and does 70% damage before anyone else starts and leaves only 30%. As long as there is 30% health available when your round starts, you can finish out that amount of health and get max HB.
This assumes everyone can do that amount of damage in 1 round, which obviously most of us can't. So I think our best bet is to just do like we're doing, do the damage as fast as you can and just stop after reaching 24million damage. This kind of sucks, though, because if poli and casty are both there, they will get their 30% each in less than 3 minutes, and you and I will probably be around 10% in. So at this point, the boss is down to only 20% health remaining, and if you and I both do another 10% round, the boss is dead and we've only accumulated 20% damage apiece.
To maximize HB, we might have to do it the other way around. If you and I were to do a few rounds until we get to 30% each, that leaves the boss with 40% health. THEN casty and poli can jump in at the same time, finish him off individually and each get their 30% max too. This is risky for them, though, because with several people fighting it's hard to know when the boss will have enough health left.

It depends on how far the gap is. People shouldn't sit for someone like me who can only get 700k per round lasting 30 seconds. But maybe if someone is closer in damage but not yet there.

Are you sure that's how it works? I thought if you entered a round, you could get whatever damage you did that round, regardless of how much health the boss had left? In other words, even if I jumped in when the boss actually had 1% health remaining, it would still allow me to get 24million damage. I could be wrong though.

Well that kinda blows. I think everybody just needs to get on the level so everyone gets max
Seriously, though, some nights depending on what's going on, I need to hit my 2 minutes and get out, no time to monitor boss status then jump in when he's got 30% left.

So I took wastelands setup:
and I modified it a bit because I don't have as many walls. I got as close as I could:
First run, no garrisons (well, one garrison for leveling one of my guys):
I took a pretty good beating and it was down to the wire. The next run I put all my garrisons in and lost.
Not farmable with current stats.

Oh damn, I'm dumb. I figured out why I couldn't stun lock tonight. I normally trade out my Reaper for Exec for the extra stun, but tonight I accidentally traded out Immo for Exec. Instead of my usual 4 stunners, I only had 3.

You are allowed to do the amount of damage left remaining on the boss when you join in. We have 3 guys in my guild that can stun lock so we sit out for 5-6 minutes until the rest of the guild beats away on him. We jump in around 40 million hp and just let it run. Game allows all 3 to get 40 million damage and max the hb reward.
So apparently my mixup last night wasn't my only problem. I think my troubles might have started when I went from 1/5 berserk on my Champ to 2/5 berserk. I'm hoping it's just a slight timing issue and that 6/9 on PD will fix it.

I'm pretty sure the developers keep fricking with the code.
Last week from one day to the next, my damage in a 2 minute round went from 24 million to 34 million.
So I changed my timing and started doing 1:30 rounds, which were doing 25 million.
Last night I tried to tweak it a hair to knock 1 million off so I tried 1:25 round. I came out at 17 million. So....I don't know what to do...back to 2 minute rounds?
I don't know what the hell they're doing.
