Not sure if you have a Pumpkin, but my tactic is stack all griffins. I have my PD at 6/9.
The first thing I drop in is the Ares Frenzy spell. Then I drop all my heroes and about half or so of my birds in the frenzy circle.
Then I quickly throw in Ares Fervor.
Then I look for PD and see how his health is. If he's taking a beating I throw restoration on him.
If necessary, I'll drop the other birds somewhere near a gold vault, but it ususally isn't necessary.
It's rare that I don't 100% a base. I just look for someone who has at least 200,000 gold and make sure his heroes aren't all 150+

I don't know what's going on in this game. I went to bed with about 400 or 500K gold (raiders can get what? 150K maybe at the beginning?)....I got raided 20 times. 20!
Most of them did nothing but pick off a little gold/mana from some mills. The last guy 100%'d me for 60K. Why in the hell am I being raided so much? I can consistently flip through the list and find someone with 200K or 300K to take

No problem. I've got an event too.
Does anyone know if it is possible to remove your mines and other buildings from the setup and run the new hero challenge? I'm thinking less buildings means less hits for the heros so less procs. Might be possible to beat PD if this is possible. I'm gonna try tomorrow morning.

Not that I'm aware, but the idea isn't bad.
Maybe you could put all the buildings withing walls and have your heroes outside the walls?

This game is bullshite. No fricking way all 16 people that have attacked me have a shield or are online right now. I can't attack one single person back.

It's happening more often and I love it. I hate those shitheads that grab off the edges and run.
No one but Poli made the boss battle last night.
My quest today has a boss fight in it. That's dick, I won't be able to complete it until tonight.

I still haven't bothered with trying to transfer my IGG account to my new phone and I ended up downloading IGG's Clash of Lords 2 about a month ago. I like it better than CC in most aspects. If anybody is playing or wants to start let me know and we can get a guild started.

I know you guys would probably recommend against this. Hell, I would recommend against this. But I went ahead and bought GR. I did it because I am spending all gems on talent rolls, and I really needed another hero in prep for my 6th base. So my lineup will be:
Druid
TG
PD
Immo
Champ
GR
with Ninja and Paladin on the bench for special occasions. Best part is my GR has 3/5 Berserk... he is fast. I can't wait to get him leveled up so I can watch PD crank him up.

I will eventually get a GR, Immortep, and Atlanticore, but right now I'm putting all my gems into my main 5 (PD, Cupid, Druid, TG, SM)

If I had Cupid or SM, I wouldn't have bothered with GR right now. In my case, though, I think/hope he will be a solid addition.
And I never really gave Atlanticore much credit, but his proc at high levels is unbeatable. I can see myself buying him in a few months after I get all my other guys at least to 5/9.

That's why I never gave it much credit, but have you ever faced one with high level skill in arena? His proc is by far the best defense, and it is a very strong attack in certain situations too. The harder he gets hit, the harder his proc hits back.

Plus arena send him by himself down a path with the other team's heroes, send all your other heroes on another path, huge delay, you can beat people much stronger than you with that.
