You gotta take the other ones out of the towers first. Then you can consume them too.

You can level them up and stick them back in the tower also to give you a higher ranked tower.

Once you upgrade your tower, it allows for a garrison. You can add heroes to the tower at that point. You can take them out, put them back in, or have no garrison. It gives your tower special powers so to speak.

Get your heroes into the dungeon and level the shite out of them. Upgrade your troops as often as possible. Don't focus upgrading on the first 2 category of troops, focus on the last 2. Look back through this thread. There is lots of useful info.

im guessing the towers have to be level 10 before you can stick heros in the tower

I went with Arrow. But I think you can upgrade them at 190,000 and rotate which one you want to use. I probably would do maybe one of each now but I'm not sure. I'm not that far yet.

I think I am going to go with the magic tower first. It can deal damage to multiple enemies including flyers.
