I saw them in Nola, week before.

They blew the roof off Mahalia Jackson.
Great show.

Robinson bros dad passed away couple weeks ago ..they had to cancel show or two.

Saw 'em in Baton Rouge, and as was mentioned, even though the set list wasn't full of the deep cuts I like, they kicked arse. They didn't play enough stuff off Amorica to suit me, but I still wasn't disappointed one bit.

If you see them in Starkville or N.O., please don't do like the douchbags with their smartphone cameras did in B.R. who were really annoying to the band.

Just got back from the civic in Nola. Worst acoustics ever. I am disappointed beyond belief. I've seen the black crowes way too many times to think it was an issue on their part.

Wonder of patnuh and I were at the same show last night?

I was right in front of the sound desk and it sounded great to me. Those dudes were jamming.

Different strokes I guess.

You know with that crowd they're playing it safe with Hard to Handle, Sting Me, Remedy. But it would be awesome if they did a FU to them and skipped those.

Well to be fair they play hard to handle-->hush damn near every show. Im sure there will be a jealous again, she talks to angels and wiser time in there.

Ive seen them twice so far in 2013 and the setlists were almost exactly the same outside of two songs, but they are on their game right now with jackie and i could see the same exact set on friday and be happier than a cow at moo state.

i totally agree. I was a little skeptical about them bringing in Adam and then Jackie but they got it right and they are vastly improved in the direction they're headed. Sorry Marc and Ed but it true.

Wiser has been awesome this year, theyve really been stretching it out to over 10 minutes.

Wednesday night show was as good as it gets. If I could have hand picked which song they came out with, it would have been Movin On Down the Line, so that was amazing. The setlist was rad, the crowd was fricking awesome, I liked the venue, it was up close and personal, etc. The Wiser Time jam was done reggae style and was the best one I've seen yet. Jackie Green's guitar playing is just filthy. His Wiser Time solo was unreal and Rich followed it up nicely. Did i mention that the setlist was killer? This was my favorite Crowes show I have been to by far. I am sad they will not be touring in 2014.

They tweaked the speakers and sound was better upstairs on night #2.

Was crisp both nights on the floor.
