Rest In Peace Coach, thank you for, in no particular order: the Chinese Bandits, Billy Cannon, Jimmy Taylor, Jerry Stovall, the Heisman Trophy, the National Championship, and putting LSU on the college football map.

Talked with him once for about 2 hours when I was volunteering at the Andoni Museum while in undergrad. Randomly stopped by. Hell of a guy

Coaches like this are the ones to thank for college football today. They didn't go into this for the money, they were truly players coaches and did it for the love of the game.

Didn't know him or that much about him. But every tiger fan knows he was an important piece of our legacy. Thank you coach.
