How much?? Can someone throw out a number?

It's different from year to year. A friend who has one more point than I do was offered 2 South End Zone seats last year, which he scooped up. I was called the same day and was told that they only had singles in the endzones.

Based upon that, we figured that you would have had to donate more than $40,000 to guarantee yourself lower bowl (endzone) seats last year.

This past year it worked a little differently as you didn't get the "call"; rather you went to a website on a certain assigned date at a certain assigned time to see what was available. I looked when my time was came up and, again, they only had singles in the South Endzone in the lower bowl.

As the years go on that $40,000 figure should go up as people just keep accumulating points. I've been giving for 12 years now.

10,000 is the right number. I have two tickets now, would like two more. Basically have no priority ranking b/c I haven't been giving extra. My TAF rep told me 10,000 would get me the ranking needed. You can give over the course of a few years.

Minimum $10,000 to get tickets next year

with the new seats being added, this still might be ballpark correct.

A lot of it depends on renewal rates (that's where the waitlist comes in). They've been in the upper 90's in the last couple of years; almost 99% for the 2012 season.

My guess- have to be around the 3700 ranking mark to get tickets next year. I woulda said 3300 if it wasn't for the new seats.

You can call TAF and they can give you a rough estimate of how many points = what ranking = how much money. Just keep in mind it will be fluid, and that estimate will likely be too low based on how well the season is likely to end.

The smart money would just pay scalpers and buy single game tickets from ticket exchange and stub hub each and every year.

Waiting list. Next year features Bama and no other good games. Just buy week to week.

Do this:

1. If you have $5000 to give, donate $5,000 to TAF and get on the 2014 waiting list. If you do not have $5,000 to give, do this:

2. Become a member of TAF. Start giving $100 per year. Every year.

3. Buy your season tickets on the open market.

4. After a few years (3-5) with your points building up each year, begin to get on the waiting list each year.

5. It may take a while, but eventually you will get your TAF points high enough and be able to get tickets.

It is absolutely true.....if you have no TAF points and want to get to the point where you can buy season tickets, you better drop a minimum of $10,000 in order to make that happen....

For upper deck I would think that's about right.
