Good sidescrolling platformers for PS3 and DS/3DS?

I recently bought Super Princess Peach for my 3DS and the Ducktales remake for PS3.
Both have been pretty fun. Once I got over Peach not controlling exactly like New Super Mario I've found it to be a pretty interesting game. Her umbrella of death and special powers are a nice features that I'd like for Nintendo to include with her in future Mario games.
Ducktales is also good though I have to admit it doesn't feel as if Capcom went all out. It's a solid remake but the odd half video game half cartoon look is a bit weak. It reminds me of how I didn't care for the graphical "upgrade" that was given to Bit Trip Runner 2. (If that makes sense) Also, while its awesome they got voice actors for the characters its odd they didn't animate the "cut scenes" (ie the characters stand there as you hear their voices) Regardless the platforming is still very good.
TLDR
What other good to great platformers are there on PSN and the DS/3DS?
Other than the Rayman and Mario series I really don't know much of what else is out there.

If you're talking about side scrolling 2D platformers, I like the following or have heard they are good:
Bionic Commando: Rearmed 1 (Awesome remake!)
Little Big Planet 1 & 2
Limbo (puzzle / platformer)
Braid (puzzle / platformer)
Super Meat Boy
Puppeteer
Outland
Guacamelee
I know you said you knew about them already, but I've heard great things about Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends.
