Easily the first one. The goalie on the second one blocked the guys view. In the first one i think is worse on the guy that just watches it go across.

I think the 2nd one. The first was just a big miscommunication between Roon dog and RVP. 2nd one RVP just missed the goal with no one in front

How was the second one even missed? It seems much harder to miss that shot than make it at that point

It was fired in, the goalkeeper appeared to obscure his vision, and it's easier to strike crosses back towards their origin, i.e., he can reasonably hit about half of the goal.
Still a bad miss, though.

I'm surprised so many people are saying the first one. They're both bad but the first one at least he's running towards the end line and has a tougher angle. The second you literally could let the ball just hit any part of the front of your body and it's going to find the net from that spot.
Also on the first one, why didn't RVP make a sprint to punch that in seeing as how he could probably tell it was going wide of the net right away?

the first one. ball probably should have been played across before beating the keeper. it wasnt, and it turns out that's fine. except then rooney just blows cock on the easiest pass in the game.

1st. The second, would be a lot tougher ball to handle. If the guy in the middle would have just kept running, how would have easily scored. Instead, he slows down and once he realizes that it was a pass, he holds his hands out like a dumbass.
