lol...

If you can't grasp why the football players at ASU would not know who Tillman is, then you're either a troll or incredibly dim.

I seriously doubt any young man attending that university as a football player didn't know who he was.

MAYBE one person on the team. Maybe.

While you and I and others understand the significance of Tillman's sacrifice I'm not sure there are a lot of younger folks who 1. no about it and 2. care until they are educated about it. Yes, there probably is a greater base around ASU with regards to Tillman but the out of state kids and very possibly those who didn't grow up around ASU and their athletic program probably didn't know about him. They were 9 or 10 and watching the X-games. Yes, your faith in that generation's(17-21)historical knowledge is greater than mine sir. And that is just some old fat bastard's opinion on the whipper snappers. Nothing more nothing less.

I agree with that.

I would imagine that the kids who grew-up in AZ, and especially around Phoenix, know who Tillman is - and I would certainly not expect an 18 year old from FL to necessarily know who he is.

That said, within one month of stepping foot on campus as a football player, you no doubt are aware of who Pat Tillman is, what kind of player he was, and the sacrifice that he made.

Dude...these people are college football players. They've been watching football since before Tillman went off to war. While he was still playing.

Every fricking one of them knows exactly who the frick he is.

God damn how fricking stupid can you be?
