You know who else was a small name recruit that played both ways in high school and earned an offer at camp?? Morris Claiborne.

He's really weak, gets Jamed at the line a lot. Not physical. Good speed. Very light on his feet. Good hands. Needs to improve

Not me. Chark wanted to be an LSU Tiger and came to camp to prove it.

He didn't impress me at the game...all I see him running is "go" routes at LSU if he can get better at getting off the line might be a legit deep threat bc of his height (at least 6'3)

But don't count on it.
To get perspective, take a look at 2015's depth chart. We will be LOADED at DB. WR may be a different story.
-----------------------------------------------
x
Trey Quinn 6-2 200 so
Kevahra Holmes 6-1 180 jr **might be moved back to wr....Rashard R and Tre' W are already ahead of him w/ 8 CB's in the lineup

y
Travin Dural 6-1 180 sr
John Diarse 6-0 210 jr

z
Kevin Spears 6-3 200 jr
Avery Peterson 6-2 190 jr
DJ Chark 6-0 180 so

WR's that are being recruited S. Noil and Malachi Dupre

Catch TE
DeSean Smith 6-4 245 jr
Jacory Washington 6-4 230 so
Tony Upchurch 6-3 225 jr ***who knows TE or WR

Cornerbacks

Jalen Mills 6-0 185 sr
Tredavious White 5-10 180 jr
Dwayne Thomas 6-1 180 jr
Xavier Lewis 6-0 185 fr*|

Jalen Collins 6-1 185 sr
Rashard Robinson 6-1 180 jr
Derrick Raymond 6-2 180 jr
Kevin Toliver 6-1 190 fr*

Tony Brown will also, hopefully be added, soon. So that's 9 cbs.

Also, Tavarus McFadden of the State of Florida 2015 recruite (could end up as a safety) has us as his leader.

Well, if we get Dupre and Noil, that will add legit depth at WR. Quinn, Dural, Dupre, Noil. Legit 4 WRs.

a lot of kids cant afford camp. some hope that coaches see their film from actual games and see there talent.
but i cant down a guy who earns an offer in camp AND backs it up in pads.

Haha, then why claim he got an offer at camp?

Either way, camp offers bust out just as often as they succeed. Others include Cordian Hagans, Derrick Bryant, and the immortal Dexter Blackmon.

In the last 4-5 years, the staff has done a better job in evaluations all around...but especially with camp evaluations...JMHO...

ASH scored 14 last night. All from Chark kickoff returns. Squib kicks after that.
