I mean I'm sure a North American version would be listed for less. Isn't the PS4 399 euros overseas??

Could Xbox One be Microsoft’s last video games console?

Right... Microsoft, after spending more than a decade and billions of dollars to embed themselves in the living room, is going to suddenly abandon not only that strategy, but the entire mass consumer market.

It's a really good article and many industry analysts are on board with the prediction if very well could be their last.

And actually makes perfect sense.

Sorry bruh, enjoy it while you can.

The only way MS goes down is if the entire console market dies. I didn't really know you were this big of a fanboy, UH.

ETA: not to
Mention, you should be thanking MS. If it weren't for them, you'd be purchasing a Sony 'Eye' and would guaranteed be paying more money for your console.

Next gen in itself could be the last of console gaming, I think there would be a market for a hybrid PC/Console for parents that don't want their kids having full Internet access, but the masses will eventually switch to PC

Sadly, my days of playing WOW on my tiny laptop while in college have given me a nasty case of carpal tunnel. Anytime I play on a computer for too long, my mouse hand starts killing me.

I'll be getting a PS4 by the end of the year most likely.

The board has greatly skewed your perception of how many people actually game on PC.

False.

If anything I think the general market is switching to Tablet like devices. I have a feeling the only people using PC's/laptops on a regular basis are for work, students, or tech people. I love having my imac, but I probably spend at least 5 times as much time on my phone/tablet than i do the actual computer. which is mostly just used as storage and backup for all my music and pictures.

Well I don't game on nor own a gaming PC, but I really do think PC gaming could take over. The reason I don't play On a PC is because my friends don't and gaming isn't fun to me without playing with them. But can we all be mature about this and admit PC > Console when it comes to performance

No ones arguing that. It's just simply not ecomical for the masses to switch to pc. If everyone could afford to game on pc there would be no ps4 or Xbox one.

Sony Press Conference will be traslated to English

Sony's Press conference being translated to English must mean they have something to announce globally.

Yea I forgot people were talking about that. I hope they also release a PS4/Vita bundle. I already have a Vita, but I feel like it might help get games if more people have them.

There was an article last week I think it was, that said Sony has no plans at this time to release a Vita/PS4 bundle.

Found it, certainly not concrete though.

Speaking with OPM, SCE UK boss Fergal Gara said while there are no current plans to “put the two together in one box”, there is the opportunity to work with retailers “to put them together alongside each other as at least a great companion trade up sale.”
