A small risk for a 20k loan that has to be repaid regardless. Maybe his dad has the money anyways. Players families get loans like this all the time. It's definitely worth the risk considering the potential. Hell they give out 200K loans to restaurants and the majority are closed in 5 years. I never said bankers make great decisions. These risks are smaller compared to others they take
Wanna know how I know you know nothing about risk return /banking / financial securities / money lending /etc?

I bet Saban is on his down cycle as a coach. I just think he'll have to give it up soon.

Why is it so hard for most of you to believe that he may commit to LSU? Let's be positive at least until Wed., it could go our way. Cheers

I'm no banker, but a 20k car loan is pretty easy to get for any grown man with decent credit.

My response had nothing to do with the car loan, but everything to do with how it's given by the bank. A loan will not be given based on "what could be".

I fear this may be the case, but I'm still holding onto hope. At least we gave him plenty to think about before Wednesday. Wouldn't be surprised if it got delayed again.

I am in the banking industry. The issue with the original comment is he is basing a loan on the POTENTIAL of CRob being a 1st round NFL draft prospect when he hasn't played a down of college football. Pretty crazy. Not saying he won't be a 1st rounder but its a lot to put on the kid right now. And basing a loan on it is even worse.

No such thing or Maybe, I just have a different idea of what constitutes being an LSU fan.

I said multiple times that his dad could have the money or credit to get the loan. Plus it's not like the banking industry is know for making great decisions. A auto loan is a small risk compared to others that bankers make every day. Chris Faulk tore his knee a year ago and now he's making 250K.

That's impossible. Cam is a future Bama player, and as such he hates LSU. A fan of LSU does not play for its archrival, esp when he has a chance to play for LSU. His tweets are nothing more than an immature game by an immature kid looking for attention. Bama lock.

If he's an LSU fan, he will not play for Satin or the Gumps. If he's a Louisianian he will not spend the rest of his life being labeled as a traitor and banned from this State. If he's a Gump and wants to join what is now a piss poor offensive line, then we have to live with it. As a friend of Don Shows, I just don't think Don will let this kid throw his life away like Landon Collins has. I think he's all LSU.
