the raiders are just a really bad team all around

flynn has defenders in his face 1 second after the snap

brees looks completely lost when his O-line doesnt do a good job at protecting him too...

All quarterbacks, good or bad, would struggle with no pass protection and sorry receivers. So a trivia question for these pathetic morons who like bashing everything good about LSU. Who was the last great Oakland QB? And how many quarterbacks started in the last 15 years. Carson Palmer sucked as a Raider QB. You trying to tell me that he sucks?

Why do you hate Matt Flynn so much? Did he bang your girlfriend or something?

His team is horrific but he'll get all the blame season long. Give them Pryor and watch how worse it gets.

"Give them Pryor and watch how worse it gets."

On this Raiders team, I doubt that is correct. I've always liked Flynn, but he isn't an NFL level starter, especially on a bad team. He had one good start in a meaningless NFL game. He has now been handed 2 starting gigs and is on the cusp of losing the 2nd one.

I'm pulling for him and hope I am wrong, but Pryor is the better play for the Raiders this year.

Agreed, Pryor just seems to the smarter and more athletic player.

This is one big load of fertilizer!

Let me put his CFB days in perspective. Our O never scored less than 27 pts in regulation with Flynn as starter. That's something that Tebow, Cam, McCarron, Bradford, Manziel, or JaMarcus (and I love me some JaMarcus) can lay claim to.

Our O basically toyed with a who's who of DC's that year as well (Bud Foster, Strong, Muschamp, Saban-Smart, tOSU guy).

Moreover, recall that in '07 we had a new OC, OL coach, WR coach, only 1 WR returning (Early who was hurt much of the year), LaFell who had a case of the drops, and a makeshift right side of the OL (Hitt and Carnell).

How can you explain how prolific our O was in '07 without giving due credit to Flynn is less than sober.
