Jones has moved to guard and stuck out positively this preseason. Not saying he's a lock, but if he isn't PS eligible, i don't know that they cut him. Olsen is versatile but, I think, has been injured for a lot is camp.

I can't disagree too much with his roster, but I do think Jericho Nelson would make the 53 over Quddus at this point. Although I did see a poster mention too many safeties...well, RR has a 4 safety package and Vaccaro and Jenkins can both slide down and cover slot.

I hope it's Robinson over Cadet, but I think Robinson not playing any special teams might hurt him. Even though I think Cadet is useless at returns

I hope it's Robinson too, and I think the winner is inactive most Sundays anyway.

Yeah I think the numbers to watch are:

5 or 6 WR
4 or 5 DE
5 or 6 OLB
4 or 5 ILB
4 or 5 CB
4 or 5 S

I had a "talk" with Trip in the comments and came to an interesting discovery which has me rethinking 2 spots.

First, Jones is PS eligible(he was a rookie last year and got IRed) and we do need a backup center in game and not just on the PS. I would say Olsen has the edge, but he's been injured and someone like Lelito could become the 8th Olineman. I can't call a winner yet but I think Jones may be headed to the PS.

The 5th safety(if we keep 5) will have to be a special teamer and Nelson has gotten the most special team snaps so far. On top of that, Payton said he wouldn't call Nelson a long shot.

Given that neither Leonhard(who I think fits the system better but isn't as good of a special teamer) or IAQ have stood out on defense, I think Nelson could steal a spot.
